6 Million Viewers: Our First TV Appearance š„¹

Being on TV is one of those milestones we all dream aboutāāone day Iāll be on TVāāeven if weāre not sure why it excites us or what weād even talk about. But today, our team can officially check that box, and it was quite an experience! Not only because first times are always memorable, but also because we were followed for three whole days.

With the holidays approaching, we opened a new corner at Galeries Lafayette, which led to a press day where our creations caught some attention. Bright, colorful, fun, and elegantāthatās how TF1 noticed us and reached out to feature our brand as part of the 130th Christmas celebration at Galeries Lafayette (the other feature was Pierre HermĆ©, so yes, we were pretty proud!).
Ā
The first shoot took place on installation dayā6 AM sharp. We were barely awake and pretty stressed since setting up requires a lot of logistics, heavy lifting, and speed, with only a few hours before openingāand everything still looking like a construction site. Being filmed in a moment like that isnāt exactly glamorous, especially whenā¦ disaster struck.
Ā
We opened the boxes containing the display backdrops, and the color wasnāt what weād ordered from the artisan! So, we had to come back the next day to pick them up, repaint them, and swap them out with fabric in the meantimeābefore coming back yet again to reinstall them in the right color.
Ā
The second shoot took place at our office, and this time, it was magical. We talked about Christmas, jewelry, it was snowing, and we sipped hot chocolate. The interview felt smoother; we were in our safe space, and jewelry was at the heart of the conversation. The journalists were lovely, and the atmosphere was relaxed.
Ā
The third shoot happened at our corner to highlight the business side of things. Pacha came to help with sales, meet customers, and review the seasonās progress. Of course, the shop was packed just as the microphones were being set up and equipment installed.
Ā
When filming finally began, there was a hilarious momentāPacha was filmed for 10 minutes straight, and suddenly, not a single customer! š We laughed about it, and eventually, people started flowing in again, from all nationalities. Some already knew us, while others were discovering the brand for the first time.
Ā
One woman shared that she had known the brand for a while. She had been robbed a few years ago and decided to rebuild a jewelry collection filled with history and sentimental valueāstarting with our pieces. Her grandmotherās jewelry, along with so many memories, had been taken.
Ā
The story moved all of us, reminding us how meaningful these little pieces of life can be. Sadly, this moment didnāt make the final cutāperhaps it was too heavy for a Christmas feature. Instead, the segment ended on a lighter note with a man picking out a piece of jewelry for his love.
Ā
The funniest part was watching the final edit for the first time with friends and champagne. We had no say in the editing, so turning four hours of footage into just a few minutes was nerve-wrackingāespecially for Pacha!
Ā
Long story short, we have so many stories to share. So if youāre a journalist, podcaster, reporter, or filmmakerāgive us a call š!
